Rise of the Tomb Raider is yet to be given a more specific release date than "holiday 2015", but that could be about to change.
Publisher Square Enix has confirmed that it will be making an announcement about the anticipated sequel on June 1.
"Mark your calendars for Monday, June 1," the studio teasingly wrote on the official Tomb Raider Facebook page.
The sequel to the acclaimed Tomb Raider reboot is primarily set in the frozen wilds of Siberia, and will send Lara on a hunt for the lost secrets of immortality.
It will reportedly feature more diverse environments and larger tomb puzzles, as Lara confronts a new enemy that has been lying in the shadows.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is scheduled to debut as an Xbox exclusive before coming to other platforms.
