Lara Croft GO has added free DLC called 'The Shard of Life'

Lara Croft GO is treating gamers to a fresh batch of downloadable content.

Available now as a free update, 'The Shard of Life' add-on consists of a new adventure and 26 new puzzles in a location called the Cave of Fire.

The DLC also introduces a new mechanic that changes enemy behaviour, a new set of gems, two new artifacts, two new costumes, new achievements and a new snapshot feature.

To celebrate the update, the game is currently offered for a reduced price on iOS and Android devices.

A follow-up to the mobile title Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO features turn-based puzzle gameplay and takes players on an adventure set in a forgotten world. 

Lara Croft's mobile adventure recently commemorated the launch of the console game Rise of the Tomb Raider.
