Mojang, the creator of Minecraft, has released an online tutorial that helps teach kids how to code.
Working closely with Code.org, Mojang aims to let players combine snippets of code to accomplish tasks in a simplified version of Minecraft.
By typing commands, you can get Steve to perform various tasks like farming or avoiding enemies, using code loops and other coding tricks to manipulate the game.
Once you're done, you can see your work translated into the programming language.
Each tutorial lasts an hour to tie in with Code.org's Hour of Code project, and it's designed to be used by anyone from the age of six upwards.
Meanwhile, it was recently suggested that Minecraft could be on its way over to the Wii U.
