Nintendo has addressed reports about the rumored live-action series based on its The Legend of Zelda franchise.
The widely-reported original story was 'not based on correct information', according to company president Satoru Iwata.

"As of now, I have nothing new to share with you in regard to the use of our IPs for any TV shows or films," Iwata said in an interview with TIME.
"But I can at least confirm that the article in question is not based on correct information."
Netflix was said to be working closely with Nintendo on the unconfirmed project.
