Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instinct are both coming to PC.
The Coalition's Rod Ferguson made the announcement about the remastered Gears of War during the PC Gaming Show at E3 yesterday (June 16), stating that it will feature visual improvements, support for 4K resolution, DirectX 12 and no framerate locking.
"We built everything from the ground up," he said, but dispelled any hopes of a Gears of War 4 for PC, adding: "Nothing to announce. Maybe we can talk about it at a later time."
Meanwhile, Xbox boss Phil Spencer announced that Double Helix's Killer Instinct would also be coming to PC.
After the event, Microsoft creative director Adam Isgreen revealed on Twitter that there will be cross-play and cross-buy between both Xbox One and PC versions of the game.
