Game of Thrones's Kit Harington is a totally different kind of commander in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's latest story trailer.

Kit's "pivotal role" in the upcoming instalment of the Call of Duty series is a far cry from the all-round hero that is Jon Snow - and here, we see him declaring space war like it's nothing.

A preview for the first-person shooting franchise reveals key details about Infinite Warfare's background. In (what we hope is) the distant future, we see Captain Nick Reyes lead his squad in the battle against the evil SetDef.

The Settlement Defense Front are looking to control all the wealth and resources found within the Solar System, and they just so happened to be led by a motion-captured Harington, who is more than ready to take control and "eradicate the authority of the Earth". Casual.

Although the first trailer for the new game was the most disliked of its kind ever, game developers Infinity Ward are feeling hopeful that their venture into space will be a success.

"I think this is a product of having an incredibly engaged fanbase," explained Taylor Kurosaki, Narrative Director at Infinity Ward speaking exclusively with Digital Spy. "People claim ownership over Call of Duty, they like it that much.
