It may be nearly two years old, but Battlefield 4 is still being updated with new weapons, modes and more.
Squad Conquest is a new game mode in which two teams of five attempt to capture the flags on a map.

Aside from a dramatically reduced playing field, Squad Conquest has a few twists that make it stand out.
For starters, if all team members die without any flags, then it's game over.
Furthermore, each map will contain a "strategic team resource". Signified as a fourth flag, these resources include vehicles like tanks, or other heavy weapons.

As YouTube user Westie points out, strategic team resources take much longer to unlock, and when a team does manage to nab the reward, "it turns from an infantry battle into something that's much more difficult to navigate".
The new multiplayer mode is currently available in the Community Test Environment.
The Battlefield 4 CTE is a community initiative that allows players to take an active role in the game's continuous development, testing new features and providing feedback on them before they are rolled out to everyone.
Testers were recently treated to the return of Megalodon, Battlefield 4's resident giant shark.
