Players trialling the game's latest Community Test Environment (CTE) patch are reporting that the giant shark has made a comeback on the Paracel Storm map.

YouTube commentator Westie has uploaded a video demonstrating how the beast can be summoned, revealing that it emerges from the depths when a mysterious orb of light is shot down from the sky.
Developer DICE has confirmed that Megalodon is one of two Easter eggs included in the latest CTE patch, but is remaining tight-lipped about the other one.
The Battlefield 4 CTE is a community initiative that allows players to take an active role in the game's continuous development, testing new features and providing feedback on them before they are rolled out to everyone.
Megalodon previously popped up on the Nansha Strike map in the 'Naval Strike' expansion, before DICE removed it from the game.
