Ridley's new project is based around re-inventing an existing Marvel Comics property for the network, reports Entertainment Weekly.

News of this potential series comes amidst reports that ABC is mulling over a potential spinoff of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD to debut next season.

Marvel Studios is currently in the process of exponentially expanding its television presence.

Aside from Marvel's Agents of SHIELD and the Hayley Atwell-starring Agent Carter, the studio is also bringing a series of inter-connected limited programmes to Netflix.
