Even before Ryan Murphy's latest American Crime Story season had landed, the family of Gianni Versace had described it as a "work of fiction", with Murphy responding by backing the author of the book it is based on. But as we wait to see how accurate the performances are, how much do the major characters resemble their real-life versions?
