Kit Harington has opened up about filming his final scene on Game of Thrones, and it seems like it was a pretty emotional moment for him.
The Jon Snow star has previously revealed how hard it was reading the end of the show during the table read, and has now admitted his final moments in action were pretty tough too.
"I burst into tears," Harington told BBC Breakfast. "You know, it's a weird thing. I'm not sad about it ending. I just feel very joyous about it ending and having completed it.
"But it doesn't make it any less emotional," he added.
Harington previously discussed going into the table read without having read the scripts beforehand.
"I walked in saying, 'Don't tell me, I don't want to know,'" he said. "What's the point of reading it to myself in my own head when I can listen to people do it and find out with my friends?"
What to Read Next
The actor added of crying twice: "The second time was the very end. Every season, you read at the end of the last script 'End of Season 1' or 'End of Season 2'. This read 'End of Game of Thrones'. And you realise, OK, it's really happening."
Meanwhile, ahead of season eight, it has been confirmed that the show will get a reunion special with cast members past and present.
Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere in April 2019. The show airs on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK. Season 7 is now available to buy on DVD, Blu-ray or digital download.
