Grey's Anatomy is on its 15th season, which is a huge achievement.
But creator Shonda Rhimes revealed that she has thought several times of bringing the show to a close, saying that she has come up with six different endings over its run.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she explained that she has now stopped thinking about how Meredith Grey's story would end.
"I have written the end of the show at least six times," Rhimes said. "Seriously, every time I felt like, 'This will be how the show ends', we've gone past those moments so many times that I've stopped trying to come up with a vision for it.
"We just don't end. I have no idea now. Krista [Vernoff, the current showrunner] and I have joked that my daughter Harper and her daughter Coco will end up running the show one day."
Although Rhimes is no longer involved in the running of the medical drama, she added that she still imagines she would be involved in the finale.
"I absolutely can see myself being part of it," she said.

Series star Ellen Pompeo recently hinted that the end of the show may be on the horizon, saying that she is "definitely looking for a change".
Lately, Vernoff divulged her reasoning behind the controversial exits of Dr Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) and Dr April Kepner (Sarah Drew).
"When I arrived, we had 14 series regulars," she said. "That's an unmanageable number of series regulars to write for. Nothing has time to land. It wasn't manageable."
Grey's Anatomy airs on ABC in the US and on Sky Witness in the UK.
