When it was announced earlier this month that The Hills was coming back to our screens, fans of the mid-noughties MTV show were beside themselves with excitement.

Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Stephanie Pratt, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge and Justin "Bobby" Brescia have all been announced as returning, but there has been some disappointment over the absence of Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad.

While Kristin and Lauren won't be back, Stephanie Pratt has assured fans that The Hills: New Beginnings will feature more OG stars.

"Not everyone is confirmed yet, so I think you guys will keep finding out as the weeks go on," Stephanie told E! News.

Stephanie also teased that viewers might be taken aback by the slight British accent she now has, after moving to the UK and starring in Made in Chelsea.

"I'm going to get destroyed for it. It's so bad," Stephanie joked.

"Audrina was like, 'OK, talk. Let's hear it. Heidi told me all about it'. I don't hear it, but definitely after a few drinks, the lady — that's what everyone calls it — she comes out.

"But I've been in LA, and once filming happens and I'm here for months at a time, I think I could lose it."

Earlier this week Whitney Port confirmed that she'd be part of the reboot by sharing a throwback snap of herself attending her first MTV VMA Awards on Instagram.

Whitney captioned the pic: "Throw back to my first VMAs look. Good thing I get to go back and make up for my insane looks on #thehills on the NEW HILLS REBOOT!!!

"Maybe they'll let me out of the fashion closet this time. #mtv."
