Warning: Contains spoilers for GLOW season two.

GLOW hasn't yet been commissioned for season three, but creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch know exactly where it's going if it does – and it won't exactly be happy.

The critically acclaimed season two followed the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling as they made 20 episodes of their cult wrestling show, facing a challenge to keep the show on air after time-slot changes and criticisms of the show's content.

We're about to head into spoiler territory, so don't read past the trailer if you haven't finished season two yet.

Season two ends with the wrestlers heading to Las Vegas to continue their show as a live show after KDTV tells them that it owns the rights to the characters, so they can't sell the show to a different network, but KDTV allows them to continue the live show for their fans.

But even though it's framed as a largely optimistic season finale backed by Starship's 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now', the creators have hinted to The Hollywood Reporter that we should pay attention to Sam's words to Ruth: "You're gonna hate it."

"We didn't think Vegas was a purely optimistic place. It's a place that, at least for us, makes our hair go up on our arms as in, 'Oh no, what's going to happen there?'," Mensch explained. "It's a place that makes us deeply, deeply uncomfortable and that was exciting for us to take the story, and the women, there to see what happens."

The duo aren't getting too confident about getting future seasons of GLOW though. "We have hundreds of ideas of what we want to happen, both in Vegas and beyond. But we'll see," Mensch outlined.

Stars Kate Nash and Britney Young have previously spoken to Digital Spy about their dreams for season three.

GLOW season two is now available to watch on Netflix.
