If you were somehow hoping Game of Thrones' final season would be a happy camaraderie of men, women, dragons and rainbows, Sophie Turner is here to set the record straight.
The Sansa Stark actress has assured us that the upcoming eighth season will be "bloodier" than ever. Well it IS Game of Thrones, after all!

"I can tell you that there's definitely a coming together of people," she told Gold Derby. "Everyone is coming together to fight the impending doom.
"There's a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right. It's Game of Thrones, so it's going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before!"
Among those likely contributing to all that bloodiness is Sansa Stark, with Turner - who's engaged to Joe Jonas - adding: "I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don't think other people really saw.
"I always had the feeling that she was learning and adapting and at some point or another it was going to manifest itself somehow, and she manifested it into being a warrior.
"It felt really satisfying when it happened, and I'm really happy where this storyline for her has ended up."
She added: "We have really powerful women on this show, all in their own right and in their own ways.
"They all emulate different strengths and the different ways that women can be strong, and that's one thing I really love about this show. They've not all risen to power in the same ways."
Meanwhile, Turner recently seemingly gave away a huge season eight spoiler with a new direwolf tattoo with the words "the pack survives".
She later backtracked by saying it was "just a moral I like to live by".
Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere in 2019. The show airs on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK. Season 7 is now available to buy on DVD, Blu-ray or digital download.
