GLOW season 2 has slammed on to Netflix for more lycra-clad lunacy from the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling and now Britney Young, who plays Carmen Wade (aka super-smiley wrestler Machu Picchu) has revealed one scene cut from the show.

The following includes minor spoilers for GLOW season 2.

In season 2 we see an entire episode of the fictional show-within-a-show. While it's an incredible treat, Britney revealed exclusively to Digital Spy that one scene didn't make the final cut.

The scene in episode eight, saw Machu Picchu, Fortune Cookie (Ellen Wong) and Sam (Marc Maron) reading out advice to viewers, just like agony aunts.

Britney said: "Our characters were reading Dear Abby letters that fans had sent in asking for advice on how they should handle their situations and we would respond back with little wrestling quips on how they could deal with them.

"I just thought it was such a funny scene and I'm a little bit sad that it didn't make it into the episode, but it was a lot of fun to shoot and the world will now never get to see Marc Maron dressed up as a US postal man."

As for why it was removed, Britney felt it came down to time constraints, saying: "I just feel like 2-08, it was such an amazing episode and it was such a large script that I think [time] needed to be cut.

"I wish it could've been shown because it's just unlike anything I've ever been in on TV, it's not like anything I've ever seen on TV. So I'm a little bit disappointed that it didn't make it in. But I have pictures from it and evidence of Marc in those tweed little navy shorts."

GLOW's second season sees the ladies continuing their battle to keep the show on the air, as their time-slot is given to a men's wrestling show. The show also worked in a #MeToo-style storyline, along with picking up rave reviews, including from Digital Spy, where we dubbed it "one of the best shows on Netflix".

GLOW season 2 is available on Netflix now.
