After 17 episodes and a whole ordeal about a slow cooker, This Is Us season two is coming to an end with next week's season finale, 'The Wedding', featuring the long-awaited nuptials between Kate and Toby.
As teased in the trailer that aired following Tuesday's episode, which featured a spectacular performance by Lyric Ross as Deja, the present-day Pearsons will be welcoming a familiar face to the wedding. If you've been following the This Is Us production photos of late, you've been expecting this: Jack is back and yes, he's an old man.
Unless the show is going in a different and extremely twisted direction, old man Jack is likely part of a dream sequence involving Rebecca or one of the kids. It's still gut-wrenching to watch Rebecca and Jack in a life that could have been. Apologies to Miguel, but look at these two! Look at Rebecca looking at Jack!
And the best part? Jack speaks. Approximately 15 seconds into the trailer, Jack asks Rebecca: "Where'd the time go, Bec?" We don't know, Jack, but what we do know is that we are not ready for the finale. And neither are these fine people on Twitter:
