A new X-Files trailer has dropped from New York Comic-Con, teasing the eleventh season of the cult sci-fi TV show.
Much of the trailer focuses on the search for William (the "special" child of Mulder and Scully) which is presumably at the centre of the upcoming season.
William was shown to have alien-esque powers in earlier seasons of the show, and was given up for adoption by Scully as a baby after she realised she couldn't keep her son safe.
His return to the show seems to be the driving force of the upcoming season, with plenty of suggestions that William still has some interesting powers - and could be pretty dangerous.
"I have to find our son," Scully implores Mulder in the trailer.
Later, Mulder angrily tells a really very creepy looking character: "My son is none of your business."

"He's a very special child," the man replies ominously.
Hints at William's role in the upcoming season continue even as the trailer hurtles toward it's climax. "You have to find him and you have to stop him before he releases hell on Earth," Scully whispers to Mulder, sick in hospital, as fans saw in a first-look image released last week.
Chris Carter has confirmed that William will be at the heart of the upcoming season, telling Deadline: "You certainly can expect to learn more if not see Mulder and Scully's child, William," he said. "He's always been in the show even if he's been the absent center, but I have to say that that storyline is explored further."
Other moments from the new trailer that are sure to get fans talking are the return of the black oil (the substance that converts humans into alien-human hybrids from the show's original run) and the appearance of Lone Gunmen member Richard Langly looking alive and well on Mulder's phone – despite supposedly being dead.
Technically, the Lone Gunmen were resurrected in the X-Files Audible series released last summer, but their resurrection hasn't been acknowledged on screen... yet.
This season will also see the return of Jeffery Spender, Carter confirmed previously. "You're going to see Mulder's half brother who was also an FBI agent and his name is Jeffery Spender," he said.
The X-Files is expected to return in 2018.
