Twin Peaks: The Return aired one of its final episodes last night (August 27) ahead of next week's two-part, two-hour finale.
Preparing for what might be the last episodes of Twin Peaks ever, episode 16 was packed with set-up for what's to come, and viewers were as obsessed with this episode as they've been with the rest of this reboot series.

Twin Peaks aired on the same day as the finale of a certain little show you might have heard of, Game of Thrones, and people had a lot of feelings about the two:
Episode 16 saw Good Cooper finally return after weeks of Dougie Jones, as he awoke from his coma with an iconic line:
Plus viewers finally got to see Audrey return to the heart of the action.
What to Read Next
The episode was, essentially, an hour of TV that promised to tie together fan theories and a season's worth of craziness – and viewers were here for it.
But it does mean there's just one more week to go:
Twin Peaks concludes on Sunday, September 3 with episodes 17 and 18 in a feature-length finale at 8/7c on Showtime in the US, and airs on Tuesdays at 9pm on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
