So Jon Snow walking seven people up to the White Walker army and asking politely for "one wight, please" may not be the best plan.
But let's assume Jon is able to capture a wight, bring it down South, meet up with Daenerys, and bring the thing through the gates of King's Landing to show Cersei. Is Cersei the type of person to admit she was wrong, to back down from a fight, to put aside her differences and make a rational decision for the good of the realm?
Absolutely not.
Leave it to Jon Snow to wrongly assume the best in people. You'd think after getting murdered by his own loyal men, he'd realise that people, deep down, truly suck. Especially Cersei.
As any rational person would assume, this plan isn't going to go well, but again, let's say they get the wight in front of Cersei. One Redditor has a pretty interesting theory for how that could play out:
So Cersei doesn't strike me as the type to enter a truce for the safety and good of the realm. She would view that encounter as an opportunity to conveniently take out her remaining opponents. As a women who doesn't believe in folklore (i.e. Dany being the "unburnt") and as poetic justice for the loot train battle and incinerating the Tarley's, she sentences them both to death by wildfire. Also a nice parallel to when Dany's father killed Ned Stark's brother and father. The sentence is served but BOTH Dany and Jon remain unburnt after the wildfire subsides.

And that idea – Jon gets sentenced to death by wildfire – has been around for the last few episodes. There was speculation that this could be what happened if he refused to bend the knee to Dany.
It's also an accurate assumption of Cersei's actions – someone who's proven to choose violence, especially violence by wildfire. The Redditor's theory continues to get more interesting, though…
The room is silent. Cersei starts demanding that her guards kill them, but everyone – stunned and in awe of what they just saw – starts to slowly fall to their knees. Cersei goes batshit crazy, screaming "I AM THE QUEEN!" And demanding that someone kills them. Jaime, with a panicked look on his face, is talking in her ear, trying to talk sense into her. At the same time, the Mountain steps forward and the room holds their breath, but the Hound (with the guards holding him now on their knees) leaps forward to defend Dany and Jon. CLEGANEBOWL confirmed!! The Hound strikes down the Mountain.
Holy shit, now we're talking. Cleganebowl and R+L=J revealed in one scene – this would be big, even for Game of Thrones. But, oh boy, we're not done yet…
The Mountain's death is a snapping point for Cersei, and she starts screaming at Qyburn to "BURN THEM ALL!" Qyburn starts to make a move but the Hound goes after him with Jon's naked body in hot pursuit. Jaime, with a tortured/heartbroken expression looks at Cersei as she's screaming "BURN THEM ALL." He grabs her by the shoulders, shaking her to stop, but she keeps screaming. Then his hands move to her neck to silence her screaming. He fulfils Maggy the Frog's prophecy as Cersei breathes her last.
Hot damn! Jaime killing Cersei like he did the Mad King on top of Cleganebowl and R+L=J. The whole trifecta of every Game of Thrones fan's wishes in one scene.
It's a total Thrones fan-fic pipe dream, but who knows? This season has been speeding through things so fast, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if they just revealed it all at once at the end of this season and saved the battle against the White Walkers for season 8.
