So! Game of Thrones is back in our lives and episode one of season seven 'Dragonstone' has been and gone.

And to whet our collective appetites, a new teaser for episode two has already been published, giving us an intriguing glimpse into next week's episode. Watch it for yourself right here:

Clearly the next seven days are going to involve watching this 20-second clip over and over again to pass the time. We've got about 100 views out of it already.

It's all over so quickly, but there are loads of scenes squeezed into the snippet – Jon Snow getting told that "Targaryens cannot be trusted", Dany hearing from a determined Yara that the plan is to "hit King's Landing now", Ellaria going in for a (potentially fatal?) kiss, Littlefinger being strangled – and dozens more flashes of action that we can expect in 'Stormborn'.

And to think the official synopsis only promised the following: "Daenerys receives an unexpected visitor. Jon faces a revolt. Tyrion plans the conquest of Westeros." Looks like there's a lot more going on than that...

It's all hinting at things escalating quickly after a season premiere that spent much of the time setting the scenes for things to come – and we definitely can't wait for it all to unfold.
