If, since 2007, you've been trying to hold onto whatever piece of The OC you have left by binge watching as many cast interviews as you can, then listen up!

A decade on, there was a mini OC reunion – and on the set of Nashville, no less.

Nashville newcomer Rachel Bilson met up with her old OC co-star Chris Carmack on Monday (March 13) – he plays Will Lexington in the CMT show, while Bilson's role is yet to be announced.

Sharing her first behind-the-scenes photo to Instagram, the 35-year-old actress wrote: "welcome to Nashville B****......this is how it's done in Tennessee."

Meanwhile, Chris said: "Can't wait to work with Rachel again... it's been a while! 'Welcome to Nashville....... darlin!'"

Chris played Luke Ward in The OC for two years alongside Rachel, who took on the role of Summer Roberts Cohen.

Rachel previously spoke of how The OC, which premiered back in 2003, changed her life.

"I didn't have any idea how much The OC would change my life," she said, adding: "I thought I knew everything, but now I look back and think, 'You were a dumb-ass! What was your problem?'"

Another new addition to the Nashville cast is Kaitlin Doubleday.

The country music show's co-showrunner Marshall Herskovitz said: "We welcome Rachel and Kaitlin into our incredibly talented ensemble.

"We fondly anticipate the second half of the season filled with surprising twists and turns that make Nashville so beloved by the fans."

Nashville airs on CMT in the US and Sky Living in the UK.
