Saturday Night Live got in on the Queen Bey love last night (February 11) with a sketch about her twins.
Beyoncé set the internet alight earlier this month with a gorgeous photo of her baby bump in a record-breaking Instagram post, revealing she was expecting twins with Jay Z, and SNL decided to introduce us to them in a hilarious sketch.
Played by Sasheer Zamata, Beyoncé visited Alec Baldwin's doctor character who let her in on what her twins, played by Kenan Thompson and returning SNL star Tracy Morgan, were up to.
It turns out that Queen Bey's womb apparently has a recording studio in it, of course, but on more believable terms, Morgan states: "I just feel like we're different from other babies."
The best gag was left to a serious Destiny's Child burn.
"She's having a hard enough time carrying us as it is," Thompson explains, leading Morgan to respond: "Oh no she's not. I heard she carried two full grown ladies for ten years named Michelle and Kelly."
What to Read Next
As Baldwin's doctor puts it: "It appears the babies are throwing some major shade in there."
That wasn't the only shade being thrown on last night's SNL as Melissa McCarthy reprised her brilliant turn as White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
The cold open saw McCarthy's Spicer tackle everything from fake news to Donald Trump's attempted travel ban, without forgetting to take aim at Ivanka Trump too.
"And then there is the light terrorism this week when Nordstrom's decided to stop selling Ivanka Trump's line of clothing and accessories," she joked. "That's Nordstrom's loss, because these are high, high quality products."
We don't think we'll ever get tired of it.
Saturday Night Live returns on March 4 with host Octavia Spencer.
