The cast of Gotham have revealed their hopes for season 3 - and one cast member wants to see one of Batman's most famous villains make a comeback.

Gotham explored the character's origins in its first season, with a young Jonathan Crane being injected with fear toxin by his wicked father Gerald.
"That storyline, I thought, was heartbreaking," said Taylor. "To have those characters come back this season would be extremely exciting."
Taylor and his co-stars Cory Michael Smith (Ed Nygma) and Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth) also spoke about the end-game for Gotham - including how the final ever episodes might play out.
