Dean-Charles Chapman has revealed he's been getting some serious Tommen hate from this year's Game of Thrones.

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Chapman teased that the final two episodes will see something "kick off" on HBO's fantasy epic, but his character's inaction has been frustrating viewers.

"It's been building up tension and getting more and more frustrating. Even the fans are getting frustrated: 'Come on, do something!' Lately, I've been getting a lot of Tommen hate, and it sucks," he explained.

Chapman himself seems pretty frustrated with Tommen's decisions during season six which, most recently, saw him align with the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) over his mother Cersei (Lena Headey).

"Throughout this season, he's been trying to solve his problems, and every single time, he falls on his bum," he joked. "It's unfortunate. He doesn't have the right people backing him up. He always has someone manipulating him or using him for the power they want from him."

The actor thinks Tommen knows full well how the decision to outlaw Trial by Combat will affect Cersei's chances of survival, but he again thinks it was mainly the High Sparrow's idea.

As for his wife Margaery's turn to the faith, Chapman thinks Tommen has one main thought about it: "I think Tommen's a little bit disappointed. He wanted to jump back in bed."
