Penny Dreadful is returning for a third season - and you can expect Billie Piper's Lily to wreak some bloody vengeance.
Piper played the ill-fated prostitute Brona in the gothic drama's first season, but her character was reborn in the second as Lily Frankenstein, bride of the monster.
"She has a lot of pain and she's been savaged in many ways," Piper told Digital Spy.
"Now she has this new-found purpose of recruiting fallen women - and she's found this serious partner in crime to do that with."
Said partner in crime being Reeve Carney's immortal rogue Dorian Gray, whom Piper calls Lily's "enabler".
"He has the means and the ways and the lifespan to see her quest through. They're out to get some justice for the poor behaviour that some of those women had to suffer.

"It has a good spirit behind it, but ultimately it's pretty aggressive - and some people will really pay for what they did."
Piper knew the path that Brona's character would take before she started filming on the first season of Penny Dreadful - but she says the show's future beyond its third run is less certain.
"[Series creator] John Logan has probably mapped something out for a great deal of time, but what he shares with us is pretty much season-based," she explained.
"Little bits of information trickle would through throughout the second season and then the third.
"But beyond the season we've just shot, I'm not entirely sure what will happen - and I think maybe they're working it out themselves."
What with the undead Lily now being immortal, surely Billie can at least rest assurred that her position on the show is secure?
"That's good, isn't it?" she laughs. "It's really, really good for job security!"
