The long-awaited Twin Peaks cast has a whopping 217 members
Showtime revealed today a full cast list for next year's miniseries - which confirms previously-rumoured names, adds MANY new ones and reveals which original cast members are returning.

Michael Cera, Monica Bellucci, Tim Roth, Lost Highway composer Trent Reznor, David Patrick Kelly, Jeremy Davies, Ernie Hudson, Jessica Szohr and David Koechner are just a handful of the newcomers revealed today (April 25).
Among those previously linked to Twin Peaks and now confirmed are Laura Dern, Balthazar Getty, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried, Ashley Judd, Robert Forster , Robert Knepper and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Kyle MacLachlan leads the returning cast as Special Agent Dale Cooper, along with David Duchovny as DEA Agent Denise Bryson, Sherilyn Fenn as Audrey Horne, Sheryl Lee as Laura Palmer, Ray Wise and Grace Zabriskie as Laura's doomed parents, and Harry Dean Stanton as Carl Rodd.
Also on the list of returning cast is the late Log Lady actress Catherine E Coulson - although it's not clear if her scenes were shot just before her death last year or if they will be archival.

Left off the 200-plus cast list was Donna Hayward actress Lara Flynn Boyle (who famously opted out of the Fire Walk With Me movie), Sheriff Harry S Truman actor Michael Ontkean, Josie Packard actress Joan Chen and Catherine Martell actress Piper Laurie.
Twin Peaks finally premieres next year on Showtime in the US.
