"As far as I know there are no more incarnations of Heroes coming," NBC president Robert Greenblatt said today (January 13) at the TCA press tour.
Greenblatt later stressed that one season for Heroes Reborn was "always the plan" for both NBC and series creator Tim Kring.
"I think we're coming to the end… of the world, maybe. Stay tuned," he teased.
Series favourites Jack Coleman, Masi Oka and Greg Grunberg all returned for the new series - which also introduced a new generation of heroes played by Zachary Levi, Henry Zebrowski and Francesca Eastwood.
The finale of Heroes Reborn is set for Thursday, January 21 at 8pm ET on NBC. In the UK, the supernatural drama airs on 5*.
