NBC's telecast of the pre-season football game earned 3.1 (10.22m) at 8pm, way up from last year's 2.5 kickoff score.

The Peacock Network won the key 18-49 demographic with 2.7.

Over on ABC, Bachelor in Paradise averaged 1.2 (3.70m) at 8pm and Save My Life: Boston Trauma slid two-tenths of a point to 0.6 (3.16m) at 10pm.

Big Brother appealed to 2.1 (6.67m) at 8pm on CBS, an increase of two-tenths from last week.
