Fan theories are not just being left to the realm of the Marvel movies or scripted dramas like Stranger Things — now there's a genuinely wild theory about reality show The Bachelor.
The US show has such a passionate community of fans on Reddit that they may have figured out who current Bachelor Peter Weber will pick in his final Rose ceremony... and it's not even one of the Bachelorettes.
Fans have deduced that Peter fell for one of the show's producers, Julie LaPlaca, and has been not-so-secretly dating her ever since the season wrapped.
What's the evidence, you might ask? Reddit user Krallie has gathered plenty of evidence, actually — from the pair spending New Year's Eve together, to LaPlaca meeting Weber's family and someone looking a lot like Weber appearing with his back turned in one of the producer's Instagram photos.
This fan theory has caught so much fire that it was recently brought up directly to Rob Mills, ABC's senior vice president of alternative series, specials & late-night programming.

And here's the kicker — Mills would not actually deny that LaPlaca actually gets the final rose from Weber in the season finale.
"Well, I hate to get in the way of a good rumour, so I'm not going to confirm or deny about whether he ends up with a producer," he teased Entertainment Tonight.
"I don't know how we'd ever top that though! But, it is crazy. What we've seen about the finale over the years is that the 'finale' is really on that night when the show goes live.
"There's a lot of craziness, it's a roller coaster, but I would say even now the roller coaster hasn't ended, and it won't end until after After the Final Rose."
Welp, we're believing this theory now...
