Bachelor in Paradise plummeted 21% from last year in its return to ABC on Sunday (August 2), according to Nielsen figures.
The Bachelor spinoff averaged 1.1 (3.58m) at 8pm, down from last year's score of 1.4.
At 10pm on ABC, Save My Life: Boston Trauma took 0.8 (3.18m).
ABC and CBS tied to win the key 18-49 demographic on Sunday with 0.9, but CBS had more viewers.
Big Brother received 1.8 (6.26m) at 8pm on CBS, down 5%.
