After that jaw-dropping season five finale filled with Night's Watch betrayal and naked strolls, Game of Thrones returns to Comic-Con International to reveal what lies ahead.
Comic-Con International
You won't need a raven to find out what's going on in the Seven Kingdoms and if Jon Snow is really dead, because we have five major talking points for you below:
1. We're venturing into the great unknown.
It's no surprise to anyone now - Game of Thrones is dangerously close to reaching a point where every single one of its main stories are beyond where writer George RR Martin left off in A Dance with Dragons.
There's still no release date for The Winds of Winter (or Son of Kong as Mr Martin affectionately calls the book), which offers some intriguing possibilities for the show's writing team.
What to Read Next
Producer Carolyn Strauss explained: "We've always tried to maintain a level of surprise for people who have read the books.
"With every season it gets more and more [surprising for book readers]."
2. Can Sam and Gilly really live happily ever after?
It seems like Game of Thrones' golden couple might just have an extremely rare happy ending in store, seeing as they made it away from The Wall safely.
And now that the duo and baby Sam are on their way to Oldtown as a family to live at the Citadel, there might be a little bit of friskiness ahead for Samwell Tarly.
"I think Sam will just happily accept more of the same," John Bradley quipped about his character losing his virginity. "I always used to think that Sam thought about sex the way most people think about space.
"It's something that goes on, but he's got nothing to do with it, he used to see it from purely an academic standpoint."
3. A fan backlash doesn't worry the writers.
It's been a bit of a tough season for the Game of Thrones writing team. While the Hardhome battle scene was received enthusiastically, some fans complained loudly about Sansa Stark being raped, Shireen being burned at the stake and the use of visual trickery in Cersei's Walk of Shame.
Producer Carolyn Strauss understands the backlash, but she's not sure that critics are entirely justified in their complaints.
"Just because it's painful doesn't mean that it's not a good point for the story," she insisted. "[The burning at the stake scene] wasn't done because of the pain, but it was done in spite of the pain."
Sophie Turner – the actress who plays Sansa – also expressed her steadfast support for her controversial season five storyline.
"There's one thing that Sansa still is, despite what happened to her, and that's strong," she declared. "I think Sansa has gone through a lot, but she has developed skills from Cersei and Margaery."
Turner went on to say: "She knew the Boltons was a big risk to take, she's not stupid, and she could have fought back if she wanted to but she didn't. She's one of those characters that does her scheming in her mind rather than outwardly."
4. Revenge of the Tyrells?
The grand duchess of Game of Thrones - Dame Diana Rigg's Olenna Tyrell – might have achieved a little revenge on Cersei at the end of season five, but her family is still in trouble.
How are Margaery (Natalie Dormer) and Loras (Finn Jones) going to get out of the High Sparrow's Dungeon, you might ask? Don't turn to Natalie Dormer for answers.
"I don't have an effing clue what's going to happen," Dormer admitted. "All I can tell you is Grandma ain't around to look after her anymore, and she is in a new situation, like a lot of these characters.
"I think Margaery is in quite a bit of trouble, to be honest."
Poor Margaery – she's probably not taking very well to life behind bars. "They left her in a cell," Dormer complained. "She needs a shower and a coffee, I'm sure, by now."
5. And the million dollar question: Is Jon Snow really dead?
An anecdote from director David Nutter turned into a crushing punch in the gut for those hoping that Kit Harington's exceptionally-coiffed Night's Watch leader Jon Snow was somehow still alive.
Upon meeting US president Barack Obama, Nutter was asked by the leader: "You didn't kill Jon Snow, did you?" His answer? "Jon Snow is deader than dead."
We still don't believe you, David!
