Having fun with the rumours, Schumer posted a picture of herself holding a 'get well soon' balloon and introducing herself as the new Bachelorette.
However, when show creator Mike Fleiss sent a cryptic tweet about a meeting between the pair, Schumer was quick to set the rumours straight.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Schumer will co-write and star in a new comedy that explores the mother-daughter relationship.
The Bachelorette airs on Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
