Running Wild With Bear Grylls returned low for NBC on Monday (July 13), according to Nielsen figures.
The survival reality show was down 7% from last year's premiere with 1.2 (3.74m) at 10pm on NBC. Earlier, American Ninja Warrior hit 1.8 (6.06m) at 8pm.
ABC won the night with overall viewers, but tied with NBC in the key 18-49 demographic with 1.6.
The Bachelorette garnered 1.9 (6.96m) at 8pm on ABC, down one-tenth of a point. At 10pm, The Whispers averaged 0.9 (3.55m).
Fox's So You Think You Can Dance held steady with 1.0 (3.33m) at 8pm.
Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Whose Line It Anyway interested 0.5 (2.01m) at 8pm and 0.5 (1.57m) at 9pm on The CW, before Cedric's Barber Battle surged to 0.3 (1.03m) at 9.30pm.
