Jon Hamm is fully on board with a Mad Men spinoff for Sally Draper: 'She can kill a guy'

Sunday's farewell instalment was up sharply from the 2.7 million who tuned in for season six's sendoff 'In Care Of'.

Critical reaction to 'Person to Person' has been mixed, although star Jon Hamm has said that he appreciated that the show ended on an "ambiguous" note.

"We had talked about this ending for a long time and that was Matt [Weiner's] image. I was struck by the poetry of it," Hamm said of Mad Men's controversial ending.
