By The ending of Justified is "completely true to Elmore Leonard", Jacob Pitts has claimed.
The star - who plays Tim Gutterson - said that the finale doesn't veer too far from Leonard's writing, whose short story Fire in the Hole inspired the FX drama.

"I think they nailed it with the way it ended," Pitts explained at PaleyFest (via Starpulse).
"I think it's completely true to Elmore Leonard. It's true to what the show was about. None of it felt cheap at all - there's not one cheap move made."
Lead actor Timothy Olyphant added: "I just hope [the viewers] like it.
