Milo Ventimiglia has speculated that Heroes fans "may not be completely satiated" by the new revival series.

Ventimiglia will not reprise his role of Peter Petrelli for NBC's Heroes Reborn and told People that he thinks the show will feel "different" without many of its original characters.

"I'm sure [Peter will be] mentioned, but you're not going to see him," the actor confirmed. "Now that the show is coming back, I think it's going to be interesting to see how the fans react to [a show that] is not what they had before.

"They may not be completely satiated without all the characters they fell in love with. When I watch a show, I watch it for the characters. If the majority of them aren't there... it's going to be different."

However, Ventimiglia added that the absence of Peter and other major characters such as Zachary Quinto's Sylar "doesn't mean that [the revival series] can't be great".

"I wish them all the best," he said. "[But] in my mind, Peter Petrelli f**ked off and went somewhere else. He's gone."
