The White Lotus star Michelle Monaghan has teased season three's girls' trip storyline, describing it as "juicy".
The hit HBO anthology show will premiere its third season next weekend, moving the events to Thailand.
Fans will be introduced to Monaghan's character Jaclyn, who takes a girls' trip abroad with her childhood best friends Kate (Leslie Bibbs) and Laurie (Carrie Coon).

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Monaghan explained why creator Mike White decided to add a girls' trip into the mix.
"It’s so good, it’s so juicy. It’s really fun, I love that Mike finally brought in a storyline that represents the ladies," she said.

"I think the catalyst for that was tagging along on a girls trip himself and seeing the dynamics.
"Mike being this keen observer of everyone, he’s very sensitive to everything, he wrote it into season three which is so exciting."

Further teasing what fans can expect from the storyline, Monaghan continued: "We get to see these three childhood best friends reconnect and come together after all these years, having gone off and gotten married and gotten jobs and had kids and careers and everything, and we see how much they’re really connected to each other."
"I think one of the things Mike was really eager to explore in this particular storyline is the way in which women are conditioned to compare each other, to compare ourselves to one another, and to judge ourselves and that’s something that we really lean into this season three."
The White Lotus season three will also star Harry Potter's Jason Isaacs, Lost in Space's Parker Posey, Fallout's Walton Goggins, Sex Education's Aimee Lou Wood and Blackpink's Lisa, while Natasha Rothwell returns as Belinda Lindsey from season one.
The White Lotus season three is set to premiere on February 16 on HBO and Max in the US and February 17 on Sky and NOW in the UK. Seasons 1-2 are available to stream on Sky and NOW.
