Hulu has released first-look images of Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo in new series Good American Family.
The Meredith Grey actor appears in the upcoming eight-part series about an American couple who adopt a girl with a rare form of dwarfism, only to discover that all is not what it seems.
Pompeo sports blonde hair for her part as Kristine, who is seen staring at her complexion in one image. She's married to husband Michael Barnett, played by The Morning Show's Mark Duplass, who are seen together smiling and sat at a desk in another still.

In an additional first-look photo, Pompeo is seen lovingly cuddling a young girl (Imogen Reid), while Mad Men's Christina Hendricks – teased only as Cynthia in the series – is seen sat in a courtroom in another image.
"Told from multiple points of view, as a means to explore issues of perspective, bias, and trauma, this compelling drama is inspired by the disturbing stories surrounding a Midwestern couple who adopts a girl with a rare form of dwarfism," reads the official show synopsis.

In addition to her on-screen role, Pompeo also acts as an executive producer on Good American Family.
The series marks Pompeo's first role away from Grey's Anatomy, having exited as a main cast member after season 19. She has however made guest appearances and continued to narrate the show for season 20 and has returned for several episodes in season 21, which is currently airing.
Good American Family will air on Hulu in the US on March 19.
