Will Smith has paid tribute to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air producer Quincy Jones after the music star's death.
The legendary producer and composer died over the weekend aged 91, with tributes flooding in from the world of entertainment.
Among them is Smith, who worked with Jones on The Fresh Prince – on which Jones served as an executive producer and composer.

"Quincy Jones is the true definition of a Mentor, a Father and a Friend," Smith captioned an Instagram picture with the late star. "He pointed me toward the greatest parts of myself.
"He defended me. He nurtured me. He encouraged me. He inspired me. He checked me when he needed to. He let me use his wings until mine were strong enough to fly."

Across his career, Jones was known for working with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Lesley Gore, Count Basie and, most famously, Michael Jackson, as well as composing scores for movies such as The Italian Job, The Wiz and The Color Purple.

Other stars who have paid tribute include Sir Paul McCartney, who wrote on Instagram: "Dear Quincy Jones has passed and left those of us who knew him feeling sad. He was supremely talented, and I felt privileged to have known him for many years."
Oprah Winfrey also shared a tribute on her Instagram page, writing: "My beloved Q. The world’s beloved Q. The one and only Quincy Jones 'discovered' me for 'The Color Purple' movie in 1985.
"My life changed forever for the better after meeting him. I had never experienced, nor have since, anyone who’s heart was so filled with love," she added.
