A first look at Jenna Ortega in Wednesday season 2 has been released.
The anticipated second outing of the hit Netflix show recently began filming, and a new behind-the-scenes clip has been released by the streamer ahead of the season’s premiere in 2025.
In the video, we see Ortega on set, including a camera shot in which she wields a knife and declares: “Let’s play dolls.”

“This season is going to be bigger and more twisted than you can ever imagine,” co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams) further teases over a montage of set clips.
Ortega’s Wednesday then tells audiences: “If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed… and I’m not that generous.”

As well as returning stars such as Ortega, Zeta-Jones and Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Wednesday’s second season will welcome a number of new cast members, including Scoop's Billie Piper, Fool Me Once's Joanna Lumley, Boardwalk Empire’s Steve Buscemi and Westworld’s Thandiwe Newton.
Original Addams Family star Christopher Lloyd is also joining, as are The Kominsky Method’s Haley Joel Osment, Law & Order's Noah Taylor, Return to Silent Hill's Evie Templeton, The Handmaid’s Tale's Owen Painter, Scream's Heather Matarazzo and Star Wars' Joonas Suotamo.

Meanwhile, last month Ortega said she was “terrified” to return to the show for season 2, especially as it had been so long since the first season was filmed.
"I was a little terrified just because it had been years since Wednesday, since we shot the first one,” she told The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “We did that like two or three years ago in Romania.
"So, I didn't really know how I… I just was, I think, overthinking it. But as soon as you put on the costumes by Colleen Atwood, you get hair and makeup done, and then you take all the expression out of your face, it's like, 'Oh, okay. I kind of, I know how to do this. Yeah. Yeah'."
Wednesday streams on Netflix. Season 2 is in production.
