Charlie Sheen is still hoping to return to Two and a Half Men.

In an interview with Extra, the actor suggested that CBS is open to him reprising his role as Charlie Harper in the hit sitcom.

"They know that I want to do it, and I know that they're open to it, so I guess we're just a meeting away from making it happen," Sheen explained.

"I just think I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans, I owe it to myself, I owe it to Chuck [Lorre], Jon [Cryer]. Yeah, I just think it makes sense."

Sheen had an infamous falling out with the show's creator Lorre and was fired from the series in 2011.
