The Amazing Race soared to a new season high for CBS on Friday (October 17).

The reality competition rose 27% to 1.4 (6.61m) at 8pm, before Hawaii Five-0 remained steady with 1.2 (9.14m) at 9pm.


Blue Bloods averaged 1.2 (10.42m) at 10pm.

ABC won the key 18-49 demographic in preliminary ratings for Friday with 1.4.

Last Man Standing started off the night for ABC down 8% to 1.3 (6.71m) at 8pm, followed by Cristela receiving 1.2 (5.97m) at 8.30pm.

Shark Tank garnered 1.9 (7.27m) at 9pm, down 5%. 20/20 appealed to 1.1 (4.68m) at 10pm.

America's Next Top Model dropped 25% at 9pm for The CW, taking 0.3 (1.06m).

Utopia on Fox was even with last week's score of 0.7 (1.88m) at 8pm.

Dateline earned 1.2 (5.72m) at 9pm on NBC.
