Snowpiercer's unaired season 4 has been given an exciting update, with a new network picking the show up.
The dystopian series was axed by original broadcaster TNT over a year ago, despite production on the fourth season being completed at the time.
It has now been confirmed that AMC is taking on the show – though fans will still have to wait a while to watch it, with an early 2025 release expected.

“Snowpiercer is an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride with a loyal fanbase – similar to the passionate fandoms we serve across our biggest franchise series – and a welcome addition to AMC and AMC+,” said AMC's executive vice president of original programming Ben Davis.
“We look forward to giving viewers an opportunity to binge the first three seasons later this year, in anticipation of the arrival of a remarkable fourth season helmed by [new showrunner] Paul Zbyszewski and this stellar cast, which will premiere in 2025.”

Upon the show's axing by TNT last year, the network said it was "a difficult decision" to cancel it, though producer Tomorrow Studios expressed hope that the series would find a new home.
"We are so passionate about this series that we have acquired the rights to control the franchise," they said. "We hope to find the perfect partner shortly and finish a great ride with the final season."
Speaking back in December, star Mike O'Malley suggested that Snowpiercer would find a new network, while also teasing what to expect.
"I think there's an ending to that where it could be the end, and it's very hopeful... So I really, really can't wait for that show to get out there and for people to see it, because it's awesome," he told TVLine.
Snowpiercer season 4 will air on AMC in the US from 2025. UK viewers can catch up with seasons 1-3 on Netflix.
