McCord will appear in season one as an actress named Nina Preston, who contacts the Threat Assessment Unit for help when a fan threatens her life.
The actress is expected to appear in just one episode of the show, according to Mashable.
McCord famously portrayed the privileged and troubled teenager Naomi Clark in 90210.
