By Phyllis Logan has signed up to appear on Bones.
The actress will play Sandra Zins, a "wealthy woman whose housekeeper has been murdered", executive producer Stephen Nathan told TVLine.
"[Sandra's] attempts to help are revealed to be a cover for something much darker," Nathan teased.
Logan - known for her role as Mrs Hughes on Downton Abbey - features in the sixth episode of the procedural's upcoming 10th season.
Bones returns to Fox on Thursday, September 25 in the US.
Meanwhile, Fox is looking to bring back the show for an 11th season after the latest run sees stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel fulfil their current contracts.
