Psych star Maggie Lawson is to appear in the final season of Two and a Half Men.
The actress will play a social worker who helps Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) and Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) marry, Deadline reports.
Her appearance is part of the upcoming storyline that will see Walden propose to raise a child with Alan during an "existential crisis".
Lawson's role marks her return to CBS, after starring in the pilot for comedy Save The Date last season.
In May, CBS confirmed that the upcoming twelfth season of Two and a Half Men would be the last.
The network will air the sitcom's final run on Thursdays at 9/8c beginning October 30, once the eight-game Thursday Night Football series has concluded.
