Netflix has debuted a new featurette for The Killing's final season exclusively on Digital Spy.
The complete fourth and final season premieres exclusively to Netflix subscribers on Friday, August 1 at 12.01am PT (8.01am UK time).
The story picks up right after the season 3 finale, as Detectives Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) struggle to manage the fallout from their rash actions at the end of last season.
Soon, the pair are assigned a new case - a picture-perfect family is murdered, survived only by the son, Kyle Stansbury (Tyler Ross), who was shot in the head during the massacre.
Joan Allen guest stars this season as Colonel Margaret Rayne, the headmaster of the all-boys military academy that Kyle attends.
Ahead of season four's premiere, the first three seasons of The Killing are available now to stream globally on Netflix.
