Medusa is kidnapped and held hostage by Kyros, who will only release her on the condition that Hercules retrieve something from the Underworld. He heads on a dangerous quest with Pythagoras and Jason to retrieve the box from Hades, which culminates in a race against the clock to escape entrapment in the underworld.

Charlie Brooker takes us on a trip through history starting with the early days of Pong, right through to the modern day of Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty, as only Charlie Brooker really could. He also discusses the influence videogames have on us as a society, along with special celebrity guests including Jonathan Ross and games designers Will Wright and John Romero.
