This ain't your daddy's Tomorrow People.

A glossy US revamp of the classic UK sci-fi series, starring rising star Robbie Amell as Stephen Jameson, recently launched on The CW - and as you might expect from the network that brought us The Vampire Diaries and Arrow, there was a dollop of romance, a little soulful brooding and a whole ton of shirtlessness.

These new Tomorrow People are just as concerned with breaking up as they are with breaking out - join the Week in Geek for a 12-point breakdown of the adrenaline-fulled, hormone-pumping pilot episode!

Yes, the Tomorrow People's super-computer TIM is voiced by none other than Dan Stevens, who broke hearts across the world by quitting Downton Abbey last year. TIM, we're told, is "kind of like HAL, just… not evil" - though he looks more like a fancy overhead projector.

Love triangle klaxon!

MIND. BLOWN. Jedikiah is Stephen's uncle - and if he's also, as we suspect, John's father... does that make Stephen and John cousins? And Cara a potential home-wrecker?

Robbie. Shirtless. You know the score.

One more time before the episode wraps. It would be wrong not to.
